A guest recently commented that when he comes off the M6 heading north - he always turns left. He'd never turned right before, and now he has - he's hooked. Swaledale; a truly well kept secret - somewhere in the middle of a great expanse of open Dales, right at the top of North Yorkshire. So far north in fact you're just a few miles off from the borders of County Durham & Cumbria. Muker is placed just a mile off the Pennine Way; the backbone of Britain. Right in the middle of Wainwrights Coast to Coast walk
